Bonbon contains no ads and shows you no advertising. We do, however, measure which marketing campaigns lead people to install the app, and that measurement uses your device's advertising identifier.
This only happens if you allow it. On iOS, we ask through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. If you decline — or never respond — no advertising identifier is read and no data is sent to our measurement partner. The choice is enforced in the app itself: the measurement code checks your ATT status before every single event and stops there if you have not granted permission. You can change your answer at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
When you do allow it, we share a limited set of conversion events (for example: app installed, subscription started) with Meta Platforms, together with your advertising identifier. We do not share your name, email, photos, diary entries, answers, or anything about your partner or your relationship. We also use Apple's SKAdNetwork, which reports campaign performance to us in aggregate and does not identify you.
We do not sell your data. Bonbon itself does not monitor what you do in other apps or on websites. Be aware, though, that an advertising identifier shared with Meta can be used by Meta to connect your install to an ad you saw elsewhere — that linkage is exactly what the tracking permission in section 7 is asking about, and it does not happen unless you allow it.
Bonbon is rated 18+ and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at sendtoichime@gmail.com.
Legal basis for processing: Contract performance (account features) and Legitimate interest (analytics and crash reporting). You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data.
You have the right to know what data we collect, request deletion, and opt out of data sales. We do not sell personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, email sendtoichime@gmail.com.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of Bonbon after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
